Bob's Quick Buck Saw--Reviewed by Four Dog Stove Co. (01:29)
Don at Four Dog Stove (http://www.FourDog.com) reviews key features that make Bob Dustrude's 21", 24" & 30" folding bow saws his #1 pick. This is the only bow saw you'll lilkely ever need, because it is built to last for decades, and you can replace the high quality blades, as needed.Made from an extruded aluminum frame, with channel lock construction, and a leveraged-tension blade design, you'll get the perfect blade tension, every time.I've known Bob for a while now--and he's a colorful fellow, with a great zest for life, and an eye for making quality products. As a WWII fighter pilot, Bob knows the value of a good buck saw, that won't let you down, doesn't weigh much, and packs flat. You can even set this saw up with one hand, in case you need to do that in an emergency, if one of your hands or arms is broken. That's a great feature for a survivalist-type saw.Bob still making his quick buck saws--and he's still going strong, into his mid-90's in age (at the time of writing this). So do yourself a favor, and watch this video on Bob's saws, and check them out on our website. Even if you don't need a saw like this, it's good to know that people are still making good quality products like Bob's Quick Saw, right here in the USA.

  1. Beats Carrying A Chainsaw In Your Pack.... 5 Star Review

Posted by on 6th Jan 2016

First, thanks Santa for this saw.
Being in the Adirondacks, you always have down firewood to burn. Certain areas do not allow chainsaws so your always packing a saw. This saw will be my favorite.
It is lightweight, sturdy, simple and well worth the price. The 24" folds small enough to fit in your pack. I've used it a couple of times clearing trails. It works great.
I look forward for my spring fishing trips taking along this saw...

  2. It's a stout, legitimate tool... 4 Star Review

Posted by on 16th Dec 2015

I'd give it 4.75 stars, but that wasn't an option. I'm a woodworker and it takes a lot to impress me as far as tools go. I got the 24" saw and was immediately pleased with how this tool is not flimsy and has the correct amount of tension on the blade for it to work properly. It's well worth the price and I don't regret getting it. It's just a shade under five stars for me because I'm going to do a little customization to fit the handle better to my hand and I'll put in a different piece of hardware that's used to lock the handle in place when it's folded. Everything I do is custom work, but I'd be hard pressed to offer a better build for the price. It's a great value.
