Bob's Quick Buck Saw--Reviewed by Four Dog Stove Co. (01:29)
Don at Four Dog Stove (http://www.FourDog.com) reviews key features that make Bob Dustrude's 21", 24" & 30" folding bow saws his #1 pick. This is the only bow saw you'll lilkely ever need, because it is built to last for decades, and you can replace the high quality blades, as needed.Made from an extruded aluminum frame, with channel lock construction, and a leveraged-tension blade design, you'll get the perfect blade tension, every time.I've known Bob for a while now--and he's a colorful fellow, with a great zest for life, and an eye for making quality products. As a WWII fighter pilot, Bob knows the value of a good buck saw, that won't let you down, doesn't weigh much, and packs flat. You can even set this saw up with one hand, in case you need to do that in an emergency, if one of your hands or arms is broken. That's a great feature for a survivalist-type saw.Bob still making his quick buck saws--and he's still going strong, into his mid-90's in age (at the time of writing this). So do yourself a favor, and watch this video on Bob's saws, and check them out on our website. Even if you don't need a saw like this, it's good to know that people are still making good quality products like Bob's Quick Saw, right here in the USA.

  1. when they say quick saw they mean it!!!!

Posted by jim on 17th Jun 2014

As a frequent hiker I found that an axe doesn't always cut it out in the woods (pun intended) after chopping down a nice tree for wood, a saw comes in and does the rest! After testing this little beauty it does just like its name. It's easy to set up and cuts through trees like butter didn't even break a sweat!
In the end if your thinking about getting a good reliable saw look no further and do yourself a favor and pick up this buck saw

  2. Awesome Pack Saw

Posted by Unknown on 27th May 2014

Today I received the quick saw that I ordered. I was surprised by the light weight.
I immediately had to try it out.
They were not kidding when they said easy to assemble. I had it done in a jiffy and just had to try it out on a small tree limb.
I chose one about 3" in diameter that had fallen during the winter.
It cut like butter with that hardened blade.
I would have given the saw a 5 star rating but I was a bit concerned at how thin the U channel extrusion was. If it were to be used on a consistent basis the channel could be a little heavier. Maybe offer two different options, lightweight and heavy duty.

    Great little saw.
