This style of bush pot has been used by Mors Kochanski--author of Bushcraft-- for over 40 years of field expertise.
Mors received a bush pot like this one, while working at the Canadian Air Force Survival School. He used it to replace his coffee can that he had been using, and he has had the same pot ever since.
He plans to have it as his urn when he "gets low".
To Mors, this is the perfect “Camp Cook Pot”, and Four Dog is proud to bring you this "Mors approved" exclusive design:

I ordered the 1.8 Litre Mors pot along with the Bushcooker 2 stove. Since I live in Canada there was some problems with shipping, but they did arrive within 2 weeks. I tried them both today and I was very pleased. This pot is the perfect size, the handles worked great and the lid was tight. The bail handle sits firmly in 5 positions so you don't have to worry about it getting hot from the fire and the spout allows the lid to stay on to prevent spilling.
It functioned as advertised and the stove fits nicely inside the pot. You can't go wrong with this pot.

I really like the pot is a good size with handles and bale for ease of handling in multiple situations. The pour spout is very handy as well. The reason for 4 stars is because it took me 3 days for someone to answer my phone call and no response to an email. After I got an answer it was correct and accurate. The lid was a little loose on arrival, so I used my thumbs to push the rim out slightly and it fits perfect now. I just felt that could have been caught with quality control before shipping. It will be a pot to last me for years to come.
