    I bought the 30" Bob's Quick Saw, and the soft case, based on lots of research, and because I wanted the largest folding saw I could get. The original blade worked well, but I changed it for a Bacho dry wood blade because mostly what I cut is dead pine or fir. I have used the saw for campfire wood on two trips and have been very pleased with the performance. I like the longer stroke of the 30", and the fact that I can store it easier than a fixed bow saw. If I was outfitting a homestead or cabin, I would prefer a 36" fixed bow saw. But for camping use this is the best option I have found.

    Not expensive, lightweight, bulletproof durable, easy and quick to assemble and take apart, super rigid frame, cuts like a beaver on meth and cheap to replace blades. Packs tight with the ax, too.
    What's not to like?
