I bought this to use with my Snow Peak Gigapower stove. Works perfectly to diffuse heat under my various titanium pots. On low flame, plenty of heat permeates through to pan for a nice simmer. It perfect for baking as well. Simmering rice, etc is now super easy. No more hot spots burnt on the bottom of my pans.
I bought this for dry baking while camping

This is an excellent lightweight and durable product. I use it as a spacer between pots when dry baking. It could also be used for steam (wet) baking. I also use it as a trivet to protect surfaces from hot pots and pans. I like it so much I’ll probably buy at least one more.
