Keeps food from burning

This is a great product that works as advertised. I use ti pots on my camp stoves (MSR dragonfly, cheap isobutane cartridge stove) and get hot spots causing scorching directly over the flame. This lightweight disk spreads the heat out ao it's not so concentrated. Perfect!!

Purchased the diffuser plate on a whim to experiment with actual cooking in a Snow Peak 1400 with lid, and have since used it with a number of thin, lightweight pots and pans in aluminum and even steel, all with great success. Highly recommended!
