  1. This Stove Rocks! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 19th Jan 2020

I ordered this stove and the Mors 1.8 Litre pot. Since I live in Canada there was some trouble with shipping, but it did arrive within a couple weeks. I tried them out today and was very impressed. The first couple of tries to get a fire going were not successful. I stuffed so much material in it that it soon plugged up the fan and the fires went out. The secret is to stand up finger length sticks roughly half a finger width and stuff some paper in-between them to light it all.

Once the fire was lit it burned very well. However you must have a handful of sticks ready because they burn very quickly. The flames were higher than the pot to begin with, but soon subsided. The water boiled rather quickly once I had the fire figured out. It burned so efficiently that there was just a small amount of ash left over. The stove also fits nicely in the pot for convenience.

I would recommend this stove to everyone.

  2. Very happy 5 Star Review

Posted by on 30th Jul 2018

Brought this to Isle Royale for a week-long trip. Worked like a charm. Had no trouble getting fires started in it and was easy to keep running. Was nice for long-simmering meals that would have devoured lots of liquid fuel (also had a whisperlite on the trip for quick breakfasts).

Haven't used the alcohol burner yet, just wood, but very happy. Fits inside a snow peak 1.5L titanium pot I have.
