Because you can burn bio-mass, this stove truly lets you get off the grid and still cook with amazing speed.
Water boils quickly with just a small handful of twigs. Add Esbitt or alcohol if you have it--mix and match to suit your tastes.
Throw this stove against a tree, and it'll bounce back and ask for more. It's built mule-tough, just like all Four Dog products.

This little stick stove is perfect. It fits nicely in the Mors pot and you can stow something inside of the stove if you're trying to save pack space. I like the bail on the pot, because it doesn't get too hot and you can quickly lift it off the stove if needed. Of course this stove requires more tending than a gas stove, but who doesn't like playing with fire? I definitely would recommend it.

I ordered this stove and the Mors 1.8 Litre pot. Since I live in Canada there was some trouble with shipping, but it did arrive within a couple weeks. I tried them out today and was very impressed. The first couple of tries to get a fire going were not successful. I stuffed so much material in it that it soon plugged up the fan and the fires went out. The secret is to stand up finger length sticks roughly half a finger width and stuff some paper in-between them to light it all.
Once the fire was lit it burned very well. However you must have a handful of sticks ready because they burn very quickly. The flames were higher than the pot to begin with, but soon subsided. The water boiled rather quickly once I had the fire figured out. It burned so efficiently that there was just a small amount of ash left over. The stove also fits nicely in the pot for convenience.
I would recommend this stove to everyone.
