  1. Great stove for the outdoors, reluctant to buy since they never reply via email. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 16th Jan 2016

It is 2016, so I thought I should leave a review for this fantastic stove for this year.

The stove arrived fast, though I had messaged Four Dog but they never got back to replying to me.

Anyhow, I wanted an ultralight stove. Looked into Solo Stove, Toaks, Emberlit, Bushbox, and Vargo-Hex stove. I heard fantastic review about the Four Dog so I went ahead and purchased it on Sunday of Jan 10th(when I was not sober), and the stove arrived on Jan 16th of 2016

The person who packaged my stove did a great job to be sure that my stove didn't get damaged by the infamous USPS.

The construction, and the design knocked my socks off! When I picked up the stove from its packaging I noticed how lightweight it was.
I am looking forward to taking this stove on my various backpacking trip.

    Thank you, Four Dog Stove.
I will buy more from you and recommend you to my friends about your product, if you will only REPLY TO CUSTOMERS' QUERY!

    Anyway, Thanks!

  2. Works great and shipped fast 5 Star Review

Posted by on 30th Jun 2015

Purchased the Bushcooker LT2 and it was shipped very quickly. Pulled it out and started testing it out a couple hours later, it works really well. I've never used this type of stove before, but had been comparing it to the Solo stove and Bushbuddy and it beats both of them on price/weight and beats the Solo on quality.

First time I used it I overloaded it with wood so it didn't burn very efficiently, but I tossed a couple hexamine tablets in to keep it from dying out and it worked out fine.

Next time I used thinner wood (pencil thickness, maybe slightly larger as my big pieces) and put less of it in at one time. Worked great, had my meal cooked up in a few minutes. The stove works great, just read the little manual it comes with and you'll be fine.

The combo kit all nests together very well, the windscreen is a little tricky but not hard to put together. You won't regret this purchase!
