As soon as I got the Bushcooker II in the mail I gathered up a bucket of twigs and rough cut lumber chips that were in my yard, threw in a sprinkle of denatured alcohol and lit it all with a stick match. I put on an old empty tin can of water and by the time I had put instant coffee and sugar from the house in my cup the can of water was boiling. Good cup of coffee. Plain and simple. I purchased the Bushcooker II for when lights go out one day but until then, It can make a few cups of coffee.

Received this cooker, windscreen and accessories in a timely manner. Really impressed with weight and apparent quality of build. Had several questions in getting the best performance-all answered by phone, thoroughly and great service. This stove ROCKS!I know people tend to think about burning alcohol or wood, but these things really come into their own when using alcohol, etc. as a starter and supplementing with twigs. More burn time, more heat, less fuel carried. Very efficient and boiled 24OZ of room temp water in 3.5ish minutes with less than an ounce of arch. and 4-5 small twigs..with plenty of burn time left over
